I'll come out and say it. I HAVE NO DEGREES. Not yet, anyway. I'm literally JUST out of high-school, and am trying to find work to pay for an apartment near the college I'm trying to get into. I'm pretty much accepted. I have to take an exam yet, but other than that, I'm set. Oh... and money. I need to be able to at least pay for student loans later on in life, and buy my books. So yes, I know I seem a bit under-experienced, but let me tell you that I've been working with computers since I was a wee child, and I've been practicing web design, building web sites since about freshman year in High School. I have a horrid time getting normal work, but even worse sticking with it. Most of my work is done in GiMP, a free GNU-Licensed image editor, though I have used other products such as mspaint, Macromedia/Adobe Fireworks 8, and Adobe Photoshop (7, 9, CS2 and CS4.) As far as building the websites, I generally use Notepad.exe, which comes free with any Windows OS (Operating System.) I also employ the code-editor "Notepad++" or "Notepad Plus Plus." I can use Macromedia/Adobe DreamWeaver 8 and up, but I don't really need it. Like I said... I don't like to use unnecessary tools unless the work I'm doing MAKES them necessary. Also, forgive my all-capital words, I don't have the option of using the CTRL+I shortcut here to make my text italicized and show emphasis, nor do I know whether or not I can use HTML code in this editor. Thanks for reading, and I hope you're the one that hires me! (Considering the fact that you just got a HUGE back-story on me . . . if you've made it this far, you must be either interested or desperate, and honestly, I'll take either one!) Last but not least, I would like to note that the font used in this mediocre banner of a logo I made specifically for this site was not developed by myself or Microsoft. If I am not mistaken, the name of the artist is Kelly Ann, but I do know that the font may be downloaded via [login to view URL] ! I recommend it for ANYTHING!
