I'm a 32 years old freelance music composer for media. My portfolio can be found here: [login to view URL] I have to say that computers - and mostly video games - helped me to become the person I am. They encouraged me to grow in: - creativity and problem solving - as I was creating smaller mods for video games like Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, or sports games like Madden NFL 08 or Pro Cycling Manager, and several others. - persistence and work ethic - I was building a virtual company in Linden Labs' Second Life, developing everything on my own in the process: the products, the website, the brand identity, the marketing strategy and tools, the headquarters, plus handling all support cases. I learned to use Photoshop, and had a glimpse into character creation, as my main products were face and body textures for SL avatars, - communication and management skills - I founded a one-man clan in the MMO, Entropia Universe, and built it into a community of over 100 members, thus becoming the 10th biggest society in the game. Even 4 years after me retiring from the clanleader position, Hungarian Trox-Killers are still a force in Entropia Universe, - reliability - When fellow gamers voted me to become the first head coach of the U21 Hungarian National Soccer Team in the extremely popular online game, Hattrick, I learned what it feels like, if literally thousands are counting on me to carry the flag of my country, and produce results under pressure. I also learned to speak English fluently while playing role-playing games at the age of 15-16, and my passion for orchestral music comes from those games too. I am a very swift learner, and I'm able to turn theory in to practice immediately.
