• Monitoring Systems: sets up monitoring systems and processes to ensure Plants comply to both internal and external CSR standards • Compliance Auditing: arranges for spot checks on compliance to ensure Plants comply to both internal and external CSR standards • Corrective Action: in case of non-compliance to internal / external CSR standards, assists Plants to develop corrective action plans on compliance issues as needed; if significant problems arise, escalates the issues to direct manager • Social Compliance Advice: provides Group with expert advice on compliance issues where necessary • Laws, Regulations and Standards: personally understands local laws / regulations for each region and international standards and develops and maintains channels for receiving regular updates from external parties • Plant SOPs: provides expert advice to Plants on CSR related matters; keeps updated on any changes to Plants’ internal CSR SOPs and ensures they are aligned with the TAL EBP
