I write and edit professionally, working with authors of impressive reputation and literary journals of great quality, like Midwestern Gothic’s journal and press and Hunger Mountain: the VCFA Journal of the Arts. My usage and knowledge of the English language is impeccable, and I offer editing, copyediting, and proofreading services for fiction, creative nonfiction, and academic writing. I’m a native English speaker, and I possess two BA degrees in English literature from the Claremont Colleges, which is known as the Harvard of the West Coast. Come June 2016, I’ll possess an MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. My own work has appeared in places such as the Los Angeles Review and Mutha Magazine, and I’m completing my first collection of short stories. I also privately teach advanced English language courses to adult students, and I’ve tutored English writing to graduate and undergraduate students for nearly a decade.
