Created from scratch and/or rebuilt customer supplied digital files to produce film for color separations for full color printing. Performed digital and manual color corrections, trapping, special effects and more. Both Mac and PC systems. This was all strictly graphics production - not graphic design. I deconstructed designers digital files and put them back together to correctly produce color separations for printing plates for a variety or commercial printing presses. Also conducted pre-press training to other technicians. Software masteries include: QuarkExpress, PageMaker, All Adobe products and many others. Hardware proficiencies: Drum scanners, cameras, film output devices, film processing, digital proofing. Kodak, Agfa, Optronix, Hel, Scitex, Gerber, Roland, Arizona and more. Customers included: Disney Studios, Columbia TriStar, Sony, JCPenney, Poulan, Press Pass, Frito Lay and Microsoft.
