I'm on here mainly as a writer but, before I went freelance, I worked in radio - for BBC Radio 4 in the UK and the SABC and commercial radio in South Africa. During that time I've done a fair bit of voice work - especially for people who need an English RP female accent. If you'd like to use me, then I can record in quality, edit, mix music and FX and send the file to you in any format you'd like it in.
About Me
I have been a freelance feature and copy writer, media trainer and audio producer (radio and internet) since 2002. If you need something written, I would be delighted to write it for you. I'm comfortable in any format and with a wide range of audiences including internal communications (I write a monthly staff magazine for a major retailer), magazine features, travel writing (I had a regular column in BA's SA in-flight magazine), web (I have recently completed content for Pearson SA's relaunched site), press releases, marketing material and academic articles (currently writing 8 x 2000 word features for Rhodes University's Research Report). Last year I obtained my MA in Creative writing at Rhodes (awarded with distinction). I am also a media trainer and audio producer (a radio producer from BBC Radio 4 originally) and do voicework.
