Vodafone Cricket Live
During the season 2012/13 cricket season, Cricket Live Australia was the most downloaded sports app in the Australian App Store with over one million downloads.\n\nPreviously available on iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Android tablet, this Vodafone app featured live match video-streaming, video match highlights, live scores and ball-by-ball commentary as well as news and player profiles.\n\nAs Head of Design Mobility at Cloud Sherpas, I contributed wireframing, prototyping, visual design and interaction design, and I also oversaw the development from a design perspective.
About Me
Monte Boyd is an award-winning digital designer with over 17 years’ commercial experience encompassing UI/UX design for business and enterprise, games, microsites and consumer mobile apps. He applies user-centred design principles and makes design decisions based on user needs and business goals. He also believes in bringing delight to UI design to enable superior user engagement through animation, interactivity and personality. During his time in London and Sydney, he has worked with clients including Yahoo 7, Mars, GE Finance, Vodafone Hutchison Australia and EA Games. He achieved First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Design: Visual Communication at the University of Technology, Sydney in 1999.
