DocBox
DocBox, an app created to allow quick access to documents, was used internally by Cloud Sherpas’ sales directors but also converted many customers to Cloud Sherpas and cemented the company’s position as a leader in Salesforce.com mobility solutions.\n\nPreviously available on iPad, DocBox delivered any-time access to and presentation of PDF documents and collateral within Salesforce.com and gave users the tools to access, present and share their documents anywhere. DocBox provided online document caching and management with display sorting and filtering, note-taking and document sharing.\n\nAs Head of Design Mobility at Cloud Sherpas, I contributed wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design and UI development in Objective C, and I also oversaw the development from a design perspective.
About Me
Monte Boyd is an award-winning digital designer with over 17 years’ commercial experience encompassing UI/UX design for business and enterprise, games, microsites and consumer mobile apps. He applies user-centred design principles and makes design decisions based on user needs and business goals. He also believes in bringing delight to UI design to enable superior user engagement through animation, interactivity and personality. During his time in London and Sydney, he has worked with clients including Yahoo 7, Mars, GE Finance, Vodafone Hutchison Australia and EA Games. He achieved First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Design: Visual Communication at the University of Technology, Sydney in 1999.
