Minnaloosh

I am new to the business world, but have been an artist all my life. I recently graduated Marymount Manhattan College with BA in Studio Art/ minor in English. Though I am still new to some of the technology, I have a great understanding of Photoshop, and working on Illustrator currently. I am more "old-fashioned" in my work (hence being a "late bloomer" to the computer skills). I know this might make me seem undesirable, considering this is the computer age, but I also recognize how important it is for one to have that initial ability to actually draw. I draw every chance I get, and 99.9% of the time everything is made up in my own mind, even when I am inspired by a story or song, I do not like to copy something. If I draw a character that isn't mine, I will change it's position so I can get a better feel for it and how it would work as an actual functioning thing. To make the imaginative and fantastic believable is a true passion of mine. I am an illustrator at heart, and adore stories (especially children's books) and would someday love to either collaborate with an author or write and illustrate my own work. I know this isn't a sure-fire and easy path to follow, but this is why I am here, looking for opportunities to help me along the way.
