Mikestranslation

I have a passion for language and art, and I believe it is important that one express himself through such media. Born and raised in Taiwan, I immigrated to South Africa at the age of 15. There, I was educated from high school right up to a post-graduate degree in business management from Wits Business School. In my career, I started working as an office assistant in 1999. After several years of working primarily in the import and export industry, I decided to change my career direction and started working as a contract interpreter and translator in early 2006, specialized in English and Chinese. In June 2009, I returned to Taiwan on a family visit and began working as an independent English/Chinese translator and interpreter. So far I have been working with a number of translation agencies in Taiwan, and have developed a good working relationship with them.
