Weirwood Project
As the name implies, the project was inspired by the strange trees that can be found scattered through northern Westeros (Game of Thrones). This was an experiment to see how stressful it is for the Browser Paint Event to continuously draw a bunch of rotating cubes. (Paint is the last step that takes in the final render tree and renders the pixels to the screen.) This was later developed into some kind of portfolio since I did not want to waste the time invested. Technologies used for this project include JQuery, Responsive Design, CSS3, HTML5, JSON and aspects of Material Design.\n\nwww.markbonnici.com
About Me
Something about me. My academic background lies in computer science and programming but I am also interested in design. After some years working as a programmer I focused on web development because it allowed me merge aesthetics with computer logic - the two things that drives me. Currently I live in Malta and working for a web development agency. I mostly do front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript) but many times I get my hands dirty with some back-end (.Net, MySQL). I am also proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
