I've been working with web technologies for more than a decade, I've started with Flash then I quickly changed gears towards standards based html, css and javascript. On the backend I've started with Java using the Spring Framework with ORM's like iBatis and Hibernate and others, then PHP and lately Ruby and Ruby on Rails. On the frontend, I've embraced the javascript concepts, now I'm using frameworks like jQuery or LABjs for great performance and great coding also backbone.js and CoffeeScript. I love learning new programming languages while keeping the key concepts, writing great, maintainable and documented code is important even close to an art some might say and I agree. Challenging myself is also important, the web its a pretty dynamic place, that's why I like to try new technologies or concepts, being open-minded is a must. My current core language for programming is Ruby.
