This simple site just showcases three of my personal skills, namely design, photography and writing. This is a custom PHP build that utilises a few Javascript micro frameworks. What does that mean? Micro frameworks are relatively small pieces of code that focus on specific jobs, as opposed to a more general framework, like jQuery, that does a wide range of things. This means that you only include code that you actually need and don\'t require your end users to download code that they don not need. The size difference in this case is about 25% and while in absolute terms that is only about 60kb, with more and more people going online with mobile devices, it helps to save end user bandwidth.

I work from my home of 10 years, north of Seville in Spain, splitting my time between design/development and writing. I'm a strong all-rounder who came from a graphic design for print background, but now spends most time producing for the web.
