Body Image
My dissertation was based on the topic of body image and the insecurities that people have about themselves. I created a book in response to this, containing everyday people. I drew them wearing nothing but underwear so people can see all the outlines of the body and the full shape. I asked the people to write down what they liked and didn\'t like about themselves. This provoked quite a discussion because it was very strange for people to talk about their faults when you wouldn\'t have even thought about them. It was a nice surprise because not everybody knew which was their image and all seemed to be happy when they found out.
About Me
I am 22 years old and have a huge love for the creative arts and design. Being an artist and a musician, I dedicate my time to create things for myself and others to enjoy. I am always trying to develop new skills so that I am always improving and have more to offer. I have just graduated from Leeds College of Art where I took BA(Hons) Visual Communication. This course covers the grounds for graphic design and the sectors that are involved; illustration, photography, film making, crafts, typography. I have left the course knowing that I love working to briefs set by other working professionals and try to complete them in the most efficient and professional way.
