The House as self-portrait
Designer: Lorenzo Caia Location: Florence, Italy Project Area: 48 sq.m. Project Year: 2011-2012 The main goal was to furnished a room of the University (Accademia Italiana) as if it were a flat in front of Piazza de’ Pitti. Firstly, This exercise expected a localization of the room and a history research on building. After that the concept or idea was developed which results to be the most important element of the project. Secondly, the project goes on with the development of the concept through the process of sketching on normal paper and on butter paper. After finishing the research and development steps, follows the technical steps: . Localization Presentation. . Sketch Presentation ( plan ground floor, loft and section ). .
