I'd like to start by saying that LaraGasztowtt is a strong translator and writer and her more formal/academic style was suitable for our piece. One thing our reviewer was unhappy about, however, is that she has a tendency to add her own stuff at times (we don't need that kind of editorializing), or to exaggerate and use stronger sentiments (when we've intentionally tried to remain neutral and very selective with the wording), so that can be an issue depending on how sensitive your piece is. I don't know *yet* if she has the ability to stop doing that - that, I'll find out when I send her a second translation, and I'm willing to do that because she's a good translator overall. The timing was also very good. Meanwhile, our reviewer is just paying more attention and tightening things a bit after her. For most people and their needs, my guess is that she'll do just fine, especially if you're looking for someone with a more academic/formal style.
