I have a qualification in proofreading and have worked for a book publisher as an Editor/Proofreader and Writer, so I have the skills required. I have an excellent eye for detail as the company I worked for is a high brow business in the UK so the quality of the books we created must be of a high standard. I have embarked on a freelance career, to utilise the skills I have gained throughout my career. I currently work part time for Audible as an Audio Proofreader so have the skills necessary to do any proofreading and editing job. My portfolio shows only a number of the projects I have worked on as some of my clients will not allow me to publish their work understandably. I am available straight away and I am very reliable. In my time at working for Igloo Books, I wrote many books for children, for varying age groups with an intercontinental background. I have proofread a high number of books, both containing child and adult content. Book sizes ranging from 20 pages to 500 pages. Any proofreading would have to be done very quickly in most circumstances but it had to be exact as well. Igloo Books is a high brow book publisher with over 100 books being published every year. I am honoured to have been a part of it.
