Fading Nostalgia Design
Over the past six years, Fading Nostalgia has been many things for me and my business partner, Chris Robleski. It primarily serves as a place to share photos and stories about the nostalgic America in which our parents and grandparents were raised. It inspires us to create, to write, to capture, and to enlighten others about a world that is fading fast. Over the past five years, the branding of Fading Nostalgia has morphed to better serve our focus. Currently, that focus is our night photography endeavor: to exude a more modern brand approach would help our nostalgic places and stories take center stage. The challenge, however, was that we didn't want to completely lose the retro flair and playfulness we'd generated over the past few years. The following are several examples of that progression.
About Me
"The shortest distance between a human being and the truth is a story." ~Anthony De Mello At the heart of every business challenge is a human challenge. I have ventured out as an Independent in order to connect more closely with my clients and their customers through empathy, shared knowledge, and empowerment. I'm not just an advocate of the user, but a champion for my clients and the stories they need to tell. The less barriers there are, the better we can engage with one another as humans who solve real human problems. I have 15 years of print and digital experience in large corporations, small businesses, and agencies. Whether you need UX or UI design, branding, responsive web design, marketing collateral, or simply some extra support once and awhile, I help you craft your better space. Let’s improve the experience you provide to your customers.
