As an artist, photographer, musician, and Web developer, I work in quite a variety of mediums. Primarily my work finds its way into the work I do with the Web in one form or another. With a strong focus and desire to work on Web User Interfaces and Open Source Web frameworks, I have been involved in a variety of projects leading in those roles. I find it crucial to have an artist’s eye when adapting concepts for the Web along with the problem solving skills of a programmer. I have sufficiently covered these grounds for several years and continue to find ways to innovate and push the envelope of what can be done. Primarily, I work in such technologies as jQuery, ExtJS, Flash, Flex, Actionscript 3, Django, Python, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, XHTML and CSS. Along with developing User Interfaces, I am very much involved with the creation of RIAs (Rich Internet Applications), GeoSpatial applications built on the OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) specification (such as PostGIS and GeoDjango), and E-Commerce solutions. Aside from Web Development, I am well versed and experienced in Technical Writing and Copywriting for the Web. Writing and Editing have been a major part of my career since early 2003. I believe that communications between the client and provider is of utmost importance and I strive to develop a working relationship that allows for growth on the account of both parties. From experience I have come to know that every project brings to me new insights and I am proud to say that my clients share a similar learning experience.
