'Add Value' to Barbie
The challenge of giving Barbie a PR makeover began by identifying the flaws of the doll and it's constant scrutiny in society as an unrealistic 'role model' to young children. Jennifer Yen is a London based graphic designer who, after graduating from London College of Communication (University of Arts London) in 2008 has worked predominantly on design for corporates and retail environments - with focus on branding, commercial design and advertorials. Some of the brands she has worked with include: Thai Airways International, WestEast Travel, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Luxotica, Dahlia Clothing, Evermore Beauty, Esanda Recruitment, Living Well NHS, Saigon Saigon Restaurant & Bar and Singha Beer. As well as her commercial & personal design work, Jennifer is also a keen artist and illustrator.
