I am an experienced software engineer with hands on experience plus appropriate academic foundation. I started my carrier as a software engineer just after my graduation in 2002. Since then, I have actively participated in many successful software developments in multi-national companies. My recent contract was with Aepona International, the company who implemented GSM specification. There, I served as one of the team leader. I have gone through software development life cycle in fully, from the requirement gathering up to software maintenance in my industry exposure. Academically, I possess a first class honours degree for computer science from University of Colombo and a post graduate diploma from University of Colombo School of Computing. My technical expertise includes cross-platform proficiency (Windows, UNIX, and Linux); Fluency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Ajax, SQL,JSP, XML, Oracle; and advanced knowledge of developer applications, tools, methodologies and best practices (including OO principles, UML/RUP and testing tools).
