Animirror

Animirror is a fun and engaging app for iPhone and iPad. It tracks your head position and facial features, and applies the data to a 3D character. Although intended as an app for small children, we have found it’s equally fun for adults! Whether you’re recording silly messages, miming to your favourite song, or just pulling funny faces, you will end up spending a lot of time in front of this virtual mirror! Apart from 3D characters, which were supplied by the client, we were the sole developer on Animirror.

About Me

My main focus is games, but I'm also interested in other interesting projects, particularly involving new/emerging technology. I founded my own company 3 years ago to develop games/apps for clients and in-house. I've worked on a wide range of projects, from casual multi-platform mobile games to larger games for PC and consoles. Prior to going full time into games, I spent 5 years as an R&D programmer at Double Negative, one of Europe's largest and most successful VFX studios, earning credits on titles including Harry Potter, John Carter, and Paul. Due to my experience working in such a high pressure, production driven environment I'm used to delivering quality results under strict deadlines. Following Agile Development techniques has helped me develop a focused yet flexible approach, as well as excellent communication skills. I am highly proficient in the Unity game engine. I have a deep understanding of C# and Python, and I write tidy, concise, well commented, optimized code.
