Brand Taxonomy - Infographic Poster Design

This was a university project comparing brands Disney and Cartoon Network. This piece is a double sided A1 piece which involves research around the topic of branding as a whole. The use of colour throughout this piece was used to symbolise the direct connection to Disney through the use of golden yellow and deep purple. The combination of the colours relates to the emotions that Disney tries to evoke through its movies... fantasy and excitement where the main theme running through this design. The reverse side of the piece includes an 8 year olds response to the topic of branding. He was asked basic questions... What is branding?, its importance and where it is found. His handwriting was then scanned and edited using photoshop. The result of this is a playful yet interesting interpretation of how branding has an influence on the minds of the young.
