Image processing - histogram equalization of colored images

In this project I equalized the histogram in each RGB channel, then converted the original image and equalized only the luminance channel using the HSI and YCbCr color schemes.
About Me
I am an electronics engineer that works with image processing, numeric optimization, circuit design, embedded systems design, with knowledge in languages like C/C++, Python, MATLAB, Fortran, and some others, and have some experience with Cadence for circuit analysis and design (both digital and analogic), Xilinx for reconfigurable circuits design (FPGAs). My areas of research include biomedical applications, high performance computing, and many others.
