Image processing - dithering
In this project I've used dithering, which is a technique for error propagation in quantization, to reduce the number of bits per pixel of an image and still maintain some of the original quality. I've used the masks of Floyd, Stucki, and Jarvis. This technique is used a lot in printers.
About Me
I am an electronics engineer that works with image processing, numeric optimization, circuit design, embedded systems design, with knowledge in languages like C/C++, Python, MATLAB, Fortran, and some others, and have some experience with Cadence for circuit analysis and design (both digital and analogic), Xilinx for reconfigurable circuits design (FPGAs). My areas of research include biomedical applications, high performance computing, and many others.
