My name is Gustavo Guzmán, I live in Argentina and am currently at the end of my course of studies as a Sworn English Translator. For the last 5 years I have worked in the call centre industry for one of the world’s giants in computer software and video game consoles for the US and Canada. My job is to coordinate the Quality Assurance Department, having quality-analysis and reporting-related tasks, with tight deadlines to meet every week. Therefore I am fully aware of the need to fulfill the clients' requests in a timely manner and with high quality standards. As a translator my training includes a wide variety of text types, from magazine articles to literary pieces, including legal texts and economy-related reports, mainly from English to Spanish, the latter being my mother tongue.
