Project Nomad is an Android based Field Device configuration suite, currently in it's final stages of UAT. It is built using JNI over a C++ business engine and makes use of Android Bluetooth APIs to communicate with field devices using bluetooth modems. It supports the HART, FF and Profibus protocols and is destined for installation into X-certified industrial phones and tablets for use in hazardous areas.
