Vibro-tactile display for Anesthetic Monitoring

Breakdowns in anesthetic monitoring are a frequent contributor to critical incidents in the Operating Room (OR). One method to support attention and improve overall multitasking ability may be to employ complex vibrotactile displays (those that employ the sense of touch) to better support anesthetic monitoring without requiring additional visual resources.\nMy Work: \nSimulate Operating Room environment by ECG display using 2D graphics and auditory beeps.\nMedical equipment to adjust dosages using 2D graphics on touch screen monitor.\nImplement heuristic models to simulate patient reaction to medicine dosage. \nTactile feedback by serial communication.
