I am interested in using computing technologies to apply mathematical modelling, statistics and data science to solve problems primarily in healthcare and medicine. I have excellent programming skills in a range of languages including SQL, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS and have utilised these skills when creating command line programs and through developing web framework solutions using AngularJS and Django. I am adept at using traditional statistical approaches for descriptive and inferential statistics as well as modelling problems using ANOVA, logistic regression, GLMs and Bayesian approaches. I am also comfortable using Machine Learning modules in Python to analyse complex datasets. I have been working in healthcare since 2011 and have excellent domain knowledge having spent time in Neonatalogy, Cardiology, Vascular, Medical Physics and Genetics in both Informatics and Clinical roles.
