Appeal Court Building in Shkodër, Albania
The new building of Appeal Court in Shkodër is designed as a three-storey building located at the entrance to the city of Shkodra, Albania. It occupies an area of 900 square meters and contains two penal court rooms, tree civil court rooms and all the other related offices and facilities. Exterior is designed as an heavy, clean and compact architecture considering its destination. The windows are settled in such a way that makes illegible floor leveling. The main entrance of the building is done via a structural glass façade. The entire exterior is lined with two-toned tiles. At the quote of 5.76m, is lined a belt with blue mosaic which divides the entire volume of the building into two superimposed parts. Interior is designed in a three-dimensional development which means that different rooms are combined with each other vertically having different floor heights.
