Drag Drop with transparent screen shot as drag image
This project is coded in C # programming language, and we used a ComponentOne controls. We can do the same functionality on other grid controls. This project is to allow the user to select any cells he wish, then to drag them to a location to be dropped. The image shown during dragging are transparent.. Cells can be selected in absolutely any pattern for example, rectangular, cross, line or completely separated cells. After the user has selected the desired pattern, on selecting the last cell in the selection, he can hold the left mouse button down whilst moving the mouse. This will create a transparent bitmap (screen shot) showing only the selected cells and there details. The user will then be able to move either anywhere within the selected tab, or move to the row of tabs, hover the mouse over any given tab, the tab will then become active. On the active tab, the user will be able to move the mouse to the desired drop location.
