I am a member of The Belding Area Arts Council and volunteer at the local art gallery Artbeat Gallery. My facination with art started when I was 14 years old. Since then I have went to a local art teacher for private lessons and had three consecutive years of high school art classes. I have recently earned a certificate in Visual Communications through the University of Phoenix and have taken classes in the local community college for photoshop, illustrator, and [login to view URL] 2008 I was awarded two blue ribbons for my works at the local area fair. As a volunteer at the art gallery I have created a website for the gallery and I am also the assistant to the art teacher for the classes the Belding Area Art Council hosts. I create the advertisements used by the gallery for showing updates to help promote the gallery as well
