I have been writing for 10+ years with over a dozen scripts to date (most suck but hey, that’s how you learn). 2. My most recent script about Marlon Brando’s early years was headed by Gersh and was optioned by a New Jersey-based production company who is working with Jim Sheridan. Unfortunately it fell through because the producers thought taking $35,000 for expenses with work they weren’t doing was justified. It ended up in federal court and at 26 I was being sued for $5.2 million dollars (seriously, you can Google it). 3. I was put in touch with legendary screenwriter Stewart Stern who wrote REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE and launched James Dean’s career. He was good friends with Marlon and during an hour-long conversation with him, he said it was one of the finest scripts he has ever read and it was as if I knew Marlon personally to tell the story like I did. It only took four years to write. 4.I am now at 29 years of age and I am ready to throw myself back into the ring after being kicked down by greedy producers. 5. One of the investors from the Brando project really believed in my work and was gracious enough to donate financing which we used to shoot the opening scene of another more recent screenplay I had. It’s ten minutes long and I am very proud of it. BAZAARO stars Chris Riggi (GOSSIP GIRL, VAMPIRES SUCK) and centers around Benjamin Bazaaro, a man born into wealth and fame who lives out his hedonistic pleasures on the lower class while unassumingly altering their lives for the better. Think American Psycho meets Forrest Gump. To add to my bad luck, the editor ruined our footage and we were left with YouTube quality resolution and couldn’t get it fixed to send to festivals. You think I’d have given up at this point too huh? I was close... 6. I have a great mentor by the name of Ross Katz who was twice nominated for an ACADEMY AWARD for his work on IN THE BEDROOM and LOST IN TRANSLATION. He will gladly speak to you of my accolades.
