Online Educational Services using SOA
The goal of this application is to enable the learning material to be shared using service-to-service technique. Service - Oriented Architecture (SOA) are used in this application to provide the flexibility in sharing the online learning material. This application was then attached as a plugin in a Moodle CMS to be used widely by students or teachers. This application's characteristics are as follows: - Login using Moodle CMS. - The users entered their login information, with the subject they wanted to search, for example: Mathematics Algebra. - After that, the application itself will found the material in the educational repositories. - The output feedback could be HTML, PDF, Word, or any other documents. Application was designed using .NET technology, by using ASP.NET and C#. The third - party applications was Moodle and it used this OERI (Online Educational Resource Integration) application as a service application to provide all the related and relevant subjects.
