My name is Eric and I've been infatuated with computers since I was 7. I learned to use DOS on a Tandy and to make greeting cards on an Atari desktop with a line printer. I started programming in BASIC at around the same time and in my teens started to program in Visual Basic. After that I became involved with web development, primarily with ASP (given my history that shouldn't be too surprising). I've held two distinct full-time jobs that focused primarily on technical support, and in each of them I've been able to continue my passion of programming. There's something about figuring out the problems with which you're faced and then bending the computer to your whims that is deeply satisfying. As I suspect is the case with most young computer enthusiasts, I possess exceptional typing skills. I'm also a perfectionist, and when those two traits are taken in tandem you find yourself with person who is masterful with data entry. Given my programming background I also delight at finding the most efficient methods of said entry; thus, even when I'm finished with my portion of a data entry job it is possible for me to have had lasting positive effects for others who will pick up that gauntlet. I won't ramble on any more; by now you likely have a sense of what I am like and, hopefully, that of which I am capable.
