1987 – Present DOC LIVINGSTON INC. - CEO • Created firm in 1987 as extension of RIX and in 1991 became sole owner. • Responsible for acquisition, design, production, delivery and maintenance of all corporate accounts. • Created graphics & computer multimedia demonstrations for IBM, Sony (of America) NEC, Sharp, Panasonic, Mitsubushi, JVC, Hyundai, Goldstar (now LG Electronics), ViewSonic, Allied Signal, ProView, Barco, CTX International, Hi-Val Inc.,etc. • Active accounts: LG Electronics, Sony Corporation of America, RPM Technologies, Inc. • Web Design & Programming, Web Maintenance & Positioning • Website: 1992 – 1993 LIVINGSTON LARSON PRODUCTIONS – Film Producer/CEO • Created commercial film production company with TVA to produce industrial commercials, corporate video brochures, 3D animation and motion pictures. • Motion Picture projects developed: No Bad Dogs (True-Life Drama), Hit Guys (Comedy), Secret of the Unicorn (Animated Feature), Stranger In A Strange Land (Science Fiction), Five Steps Out (Drama). 1991 – 1994 THE MONITOR - Editor/Publisher • Manage, edit & publish the monthly First Society of Los Angeles Newsletter for Southern California readers of The Urantia Book. • Involved Chairmanship of Publications for FSLA's Board of Governors. 1985 – 1991 RIX SOFTWORKS, INC. - Director of Marketing • Software User Interface Designer and Director of Product Testing. • Technical Writer – Designed and wrote User Manuals for all RIX products. • Advertising Director - Created all advertising and promotional materials for corporation. • Designed and produced all packaging of the company's graphics software products. This included production design and management. • Executed all media buying for print advertising • Publicist and Spokesman for the corporation. • Created and executed all marketing strategies for RIX's products. • Acquired distribution channels (Micro-D, Softsel, Ingram, Tandy, etc.), initiated and closed all co-op agreements. • Designed, produced and supervised all aspects of RIX trade show operations. 1981 – 1985 PRODUCTIONS TWO - Promotion & Publicity Director • Managed all aspects of promotion and publicity for an independent motion picture production company. This included responsibility for market research and analysis; advertising campaign development; concept, design and production of all copy and artwork (i.e.: film posters, one-sheets, newspaper ads, press books, distributor sale package, main title logo design and film credits); media buys; all press contacts and media publicity. • Technical credits include Assistant to the Producer/Director, Unit Publicist, Title Design, Assistant Music Editor and Still Photographer for the company's motion picture products ("Sweet Sixteen","Jungle Heat","Hot Moves"). • Additionally responsible for darkroom processing and printing of film stills; acquisition of supplemental venture capital for post-production on "Sweet Sixteen". • Supervised record mastering for Al Jarreau's "1965 Revisited" album. 1980 – 1981 NICE THINGS LTD. - Managing Director • Managed the corporation's Creative Services division. • Began as the Art & Design Director then was transferred to the Creative Services department as a treatment and script copywriter for the company's TV and motion picture product (series adventures, crime dramas, film industry editorials and various trade publicity articles). • In four months, was promoted to Promotion Director for all NTL accounts. • Responsibilities included direction of the development and marketing of company television scripts and motion picture proposals, administration of new account projects (scripts, storyboards, presentation tools, and venture capital budget summaries). • Technical credits include: Associate Producer, Unit Publicist, Screenwriter; Video Editor and Music Director for "Ladies Nite Out", a feature film project. Following pre-distribution sale of "Ladies Nite" was promoted to Managing Director. 1978 – 1980 EDGE ENTERTAINMENT - Associate Producer • Managed Edge Records division and formed Edge Distribution as a subsidiary to Edge Entertainment. • Began as Artist Relations Director for Edge Talent & Booking Agency. • Progressed through management of Promotion & Publicity, Art and Distribution departments. • Associate Producer with Glenn Campbell's producer, Al DeLory. • After training my replacement, was promoted to Artist Relations Director for all Edge Entertainment clients. 1976 – 1978 INTERNATIONAL MARKETING SERVICES - Director of Advertising • Created and executed first years advertising program for new products in the video software area. • Set-up computer systems and controls for entire advertising and accounting departments. • Responsibilities included management of all sub-contractors; media buys; computer training; the concept, design, copy writing & production of all company advertising & business materials. 1971 – 1976 OGILVY & MATHER - Account Creative Director • Sub-contracted by Sy Schnider to assist in the creation of the Mattel presentation which resulted in Ogilvy & Mather's acquisition of Mattel's Intellivision account. • Responsibilities included concept creation, supervision of art and copy production work on the 1st year print media campaign and scripting of three television advertisements for same. 1969 – 1975 AUTOMOTIVE SALES - Retail/Wholesale Salesman • Sold Dodges, Chevrolet, Buick, Volkswagons, Volvos, Porsche and finally Mercedes-Benz at locations ranging from Santa Cruz to Beverly Hills. • Maintained the highest gross profit average in each dealership.
