About Me
An enthusiastic and reliable developer who has spent over 8 years developing websites and web based applications. I have a high level of proficiency in PHP (including frameworks like CakePHP, Codeigniter and Kohana), PHPUnit, PHPExcel, OO, MySQL, JavaScript AJAX jQuery JSON, XHTML CSS Perl, C and C++, and am also an expert in the ExtJs/Sencha JavaScript Framework with experience Developing Sencha Touch applications and Android applications using the Android SDK. In addition, I have experience utilising existing CMS's (MODX, PyroCMS, Wordpress etc) to create powerful dynamic websites, quickly and efficiently, often to a storyboard design. A fast learner I am accustomed to delving into and quickly becoming productive with an unfamiliar code base. I try to keep my skills current by learning new technologies and periodically reviewing my old work, re-factoring and updating where appropriate.
