"Golden Gate" T-shirt design
This is a t-shirt design that I created for a music group from my area called Golden Gate. I wanted to incorporate clean lines and incredible detail to make a striking image but still keep the design simple enough so that the band could have it printed in an affordable manner. I managed to keep the design down to two colors, which kept printing costs low for the band, making for a happy client. I started this design with a simple pen sketch, which I later inked in with pen. I then scanned the image and imported it into Illustrator. Using Illustrator, I semi-painstakingly hand traced the lettering, leaves, and banner seen on the shirt. I then added color, also in Illustrator. I then imported the design into Photoshop where I placed it onto a t-shirt mock up.

Since the time of my youth, I have been both heavily fascinated by and deeply involved with art. Over the past few years, I've gained an extensive knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I can apply these skills to meet any design needs my client may have.
