• During two years participated in the development of WAG – Web Application Generator. • WAG provides the ability for non-developers to build web and mobile applications without software development knowledge. “Create your app once and it runs native in iOS, Android, Windows Phone and on all major desktop browsers” • Originally, the application ran in an old ASP.NET Postback fashion. This causes a lot of pain to the users that try to create an application in a web browser, since every single object dropped will execute a postback to the server, not being able to develop speed in the application creation process. • A full refactor of the application was done. Executed a complete migration to a HTML 5, offline-available, AJAX centered web application which will deliver a 200% improvement in speed creation (report generated from the comparison of DB data for 1000 active users of WAG). • The client requested that the application also works inside mobile browsers as a native mobile application. This was achieved using a combination of PhoneGap and Jquery Mobile. • Online demo of how the application works can be shown. • Software developed using ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Web Services, AJAX, HTML 5, Javascript, JQuery, JQuery Mobile, PhoneGap.

• Joined the company as a Software Architect, in charge of executing a reengineering process around the current web application for Intelligent Transportation System. • Improved the performance of the application in a measured 40%. Done this by being able to tackle bottlenecks in the SQL Stored Procedures and table structures. Also improved the communication between the web application and the core web services, since several redundant call to external systems were found throughout the application.
