MEXICO CITY DESIGN MUSEUM CONTEST -ARCHTRIUMPH WEBSITE
On a single board i did this Layout proposal for the new Design museum on Mexico city.Located next to the Regis tower (iconic city tower), the new projected design museum on its form enhances the Rio Mississipi and avenida de la Reforma corner with a brand new green space and Square. The museum its a work of art on itself, its VOLUMETRY is composed by two folded planes and one black volume that contains the greatest gallery. \\n\\nAbout its functionality, the building has been organized around of a great hall that welcomes all visitors and provide easy access to all of its galleries. Most of the amenities and complementary services are located at the back of the building helping to create the tension that guarantees visitors to use and take advantage of the whole building. The composition is quite very simple but contains all the spaces required by the contest holders, \\n\\nTotal built area: 21718 m Total Galleries built area: 6097 m.
