Narnia | Book Design 1st Section

Thank you.)\nThe Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe\nBook Design and Illustration by Denise Fung.\nTechnique:\nBasically, the whole summary of the book was divided into 7 chapters. And by using the pull tab on each page of the book, readers could slide down the paper and see the text for each chapter. Besides, all the pages even the cover were bound through the interscrew bass, which meant that readers could do some changes on the book. Finally, the bookcase was designed to protect the book. The illustration was finished in Adobe Illustrator, and some of the images were created through tracing around the screenshots of the movie. By using the gradient and transparency, the main style of the illustration seems to be soft, light and detailed. So, after all, this was my first handmade book, and a kind of experiment.
