While this worker completed the work required quickly & with no hand-holding required, I was disappointed with the final result, and when I expressed this to her (diplomatically & professionally), she got defensive and started justifying her writing skills and that of her writers. Instead of apologising for not producing the quality I expected (and paid for), she quoted how many articles she & her team had written, and how mine was the 1st complaint she had ever received about their work, etc.) At the end of the day, I paid for a service (to have 3 rewrites each made of 12 articles, that were of good english & grammar quality, plus minimal duplication of content), and I ended up having to spend in excess of 4 hours of my own time cleaning up the articles, correcting spelling mistakes, rewriting segments that were duplicates of the original article, and fixing grammar & punctuation errors. Overall, a very poor effort for someone who claims to be a good writer with a degree in English/English Lit! This paragraph didn't help her case either: "There is no way whatsoever that the articles were lacking in English... we know nothing but, in fact we're great examples of what true American English is. " In short, the client is wrong (even though they are paying the bill!), rather than accepting responsibility for not meeting my requirements and apologising and offering to fix the mistakes... I most definitely will NOT hire this worker again. Very disappointed with her attitude as much as her work.
