PoolMe: A web application that allows you to share your ride
https://www.angularattack.com/entries/272-blackmamba Have you ever noticed that many times you are not utilizing full occupancy of your vehicles? Even if you want to utilize it, you don’t know who will be travelling on the same route as yours. This supply of occupancies in your vehicles goes unnoticed and hence cannot be used. On the other side, there are many people who do not own a vehicle and need to commute quite frequently. They usually get into crowded public transport to commute. They don’t have information about under-utilized vehicles (in terms of occupancy) on the route of their commute. Hence they don’t ask for it. This demand of occupancies does not meet with supply because of lack of information. That’s the time you need an application that allows you to share your rides with people who will be travelling on the same route as yours.
