ECG Noise Removal in MATLAB
Electrocardiography is a transthoracic interpretation of the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time. ECG is used to measure the rate and regularity of heartbeats, the presence of any damage to the heart, and the effects of drugs or devices used to regulate the heart. To work the ECG signal it is necessary to apply digital filters which helps to diminish the noise present on it. In this project first i input a heartbeat signal then i applied a Savitzky-Golay filtering to smooth the signal and then i applied low pass Butterworth filtering on noisy signal that remove noise from original heart beat signal and are original desired heart beat signal is obtained.
