My art education began when I was 12 years old (in 1999/2000), and I was personally taught by my step mom from that age until I moved to New York a year ago. My favorite technique is pen and ink graphic drawing, but I am accomplished in acrylics, oil pastel, watercolor and mixed media. I have not actively pursued my illustration career before now because I was in school, and when I graduated, I was working in an art gallery where I displayed and sold my artwork. Now I have moved to New York, and I have the time to dedicate to a full time illustration career, which has always been a passion and a dream. Writing is also a passion, but I do this more as a hobby than a career. However, having been on both ends of the rope, I understand how important it is for the artist and the writer to share the vision of the story, and convey it as beautifully and originally as possible. I am very easy to work with, and interested in meeting new people and sharing new ideas. My rates are flexible. The art and the story is more important to me than the money (although we all need money, right?). Don't hesitate to contact me for any illustration project, no matter how big or small.
