"SEARCH OFFLINE"- Roses Competition BRIEF: Find the big idea to rebrand and promote local libraries. MESSAGE: When we need to search for something, we generally go online and Google it. This, along with cuts in public spending, has resulted in a steady decline in the number of local libraries throughout Britain’s towns and cities. Your task is to persuade the public that local libraries are an important part of a community and offer a host of benefits for people of all ages, encouraging more people to visit more often. OUTPUT: A campaignable brand identity that gets noticed using whatever medium is most effective.

Brief: To re-brand and come up with a new name for an old cotton mill house that has been re-converted into nice apartments for young professionals aged between 25-30 years old who like to live in the city and have a lot of disposable income. After doing some research into the history of that particular cotton mill, I decided to name it 1869 Lofts because the cotton mill was originally built in 1869. The combination of the classical "Eloquent" font and "Futura" is meant to represent the clash between the old and the new because it's an old building (with a lot of history), but at the same time it was re-designed to look more modern (that's what the Futura font represents). Also, since they are fancy apartments, I wanted to make a website that was clear and had a high end feel to it.

The brief was to design an annual report template for a furniture company called Herman Miller. I wanted to do something bold but modern since the chairs that Herman Miller sells are quite luxurious but also unique. The brief was designed in two days (including final polishing, etc).

I was required to create a visual identity and branding for a new luxury workwear brand. Paramount workwear is a new English, online retailer that sells imported American luxury workwear aimed at engineers, constructors, gardeners, architects, etc. The objective of the brief was to capture that sense of good quality products and come up with a suitable name, website, logo, and branding rollout to reflect that. After doing some research , I came up with the name "Paramount Workwear" which was inspired by the french word "Paramont" which means supreme power, or to be above others in rank and authority. www.paramountworkwear.com
