I started my career as a Java developer in a software factory. Gradually I migrated to leadership roles and work with maturity models such as CMMI. A few years later I started working in a university where I used very intensively Java development and discovered my love for agile methods (Scrum and Extreme Programming). When I decided to start my own company, I chose to develop our system using Ruby on Rails and got more involved with the open source community. Right now, I have 7 years of solid experience. I’m a Certified Scrum Master with large experience in agile projects. Entrepreneur, I'm always looking for new ideas and opportunities in innovation and technology. Fluent English, basic Spanish, advanced French and native Portuguese.

laboratory in at PUC-Rio University, I was hired to work on a project focused on the new laws in the constitution that could affect a company. As the manager of the project, I was responsible for organizing both the project and the team. We started to have weekly team meetings, two meetings with the client per month. The visibility of the project increased and the feedback of the client became faster. After that time, project got now more structured, more organized and with less bugs.

Laboratory at PUC-Rio University, I worked on a project focused on the maintenance of workflows for emergencies in an oil company. I was first a Java developer and then a project leader. For the web, we used tapestry and JSF. I introduced the concept of automated tests with memory database using junit and dbunit, allowing a easier bug tracking task (combined with a continuous integration tool). I also worked a lot with scrum and weekly workshops about technology.
