The research process consisted of getting to know and understand the client\'s typical customer. By understanding their goals, desires and expectations I was able to tailor the website in their favour. I also did research on Barb\'s online competition. Getting to know what they do right and what they fail to do gave me a great advantage in creating a website that would stand out and speak directly to the customer. While sketching a design I wanted to implement what the typical user would want to see. The focus was on a clean look to highlight the products. White space and hidden text makes the user feel more comfortable and gives them the option to see extra information easily, when necessary. For ease of use the sticky navigation in consistently available to avoid user frustration. The sight really shines in the innovative fading and parallaxing effects that the user won\'t find elsewhere. The parallax, category windows create a novel shopping experience for all.
