Available for scientific programming projects, modelling, simulations and physics tutorials. I have five years of experience in semiconductor engineering physics as well as experience in the RF domain. I have a particular knowledge of thermal flows in semiconductor structures form my MSc in III-V photonics. I am now undertaking a PhD in modelling laser semiconductor device behaviour. I have coded and modelled through-out my career, and am available to work with the main commercial modelling software or bespoke models in C, Phyton or MATLAB. I am available for general coding and software development as I have experience in test automation, data analysis and algorithm development.

AlGaAs ridge laser with 33% wall-plug efficiency at 100° C based on a design of experiments approach

This paper reports on a comprehensive design of experiment optimisation for the epitaxial layer structure of AlGaAs based 840 nm lasers for operation at high temperature (100 C) using Technology Computer-Aided Design software. The waveguide thickness, Al content, doping level, and quantum well thickness were optimised.
