Boaz Kimelman is a graphic design expert whose innovative work has led to exceptional success with some of the retail world’s most famous brands, including Fortune 500 and start-up companies. As the Graphic Director of DKNY Jeans (for Men and Juniors), he designed and oversaw the creation of seasonal graphic collections in which DKNY Jeans became the #1 trending brand in Macy’s East. His innovations took the brand into new profitability, increasing sales from 15% to 38% in knits and tee shirt classifications. Boaz Kimelman created the new website for Liz Claiborne Inc. in 2009. In his work as Associate Creative Director of Kick Design, Boaz worked with some of the world’s most prestigious brands creating exciting programs that built brand awareness and equity. He created new brand identities, style guides and promotional materials for the M&M’s, Coca Cola, Disney, Diageo, General Motors among others. The designs were used to energize and build brand extensions and grow licensing sales in lifestyle markets. The new trade dress for M&M’s (that he designed while at Kick Design) was used for non- food brand extensions and then adapted by Masterfoods into the packaging of the world’s most popular candy.
